My favourite film of all-time is Mario Puzo's 'The Godfather' (1972)

I was first introduced to this film by my Mum's Partner many moons ago, when he taped it off the TV. ever since then I have been a lover of this classic film, and won't hear a bad word said about it.

For me, the first film is the strongest out of the three...I personally didn't like the Godfather Part III - there was something about it I just wasn't feeling.

Anyway, I came across this wonderful picture on Facebook (it was on an application so I can't post the link or anything) and it reminded me of how wonderful this film is (even though it's been only 2 weeks since I last watched it)

it's quite funny really, but I have loved this film for so many years and have two posters up in my bedroom, but I didn't own any of the DVDs until last year

Anyhoo, sorry I haven't updated or anything as religiously as I said that I would do, but I haven't really had anything worth writing about happen to me over the last few days! how boring!!

I will be looking after my Boss' Girlfriend's Dog, Cat and Fish for a week from tomorrow, so no doubt I will have things to write about and pictures to post from there!

Yesterday I received some MY RUiN UK Tour Flyers *SQUEEEEEEEE* I fucking ADORE that band with all of my little black heart - it was 2003 when I last saw them play live, and I feel honoured to have been chosen out of all the applicants to help them with their publicity, I have to drop the flyers into record stores, tattoo studios and distribute to my friends ^_^

ALSO I have got Big Brother Celebrity Hijack eviction tickets for Friday - hopefully I will be able to go!

Weekend Frolics...

So I only managed to take one photo (the one above) that's my friend Destructogal17 - and my glass of £2 champagne ^_^ - for the record, she's not bald...it's just the lighting in the bar!

So Friday I went to superbeautifulmonster's birthday meal, with her fiance and two of her friends, she was a bit wasted, but all in all it was a laughriot! ^_^ yaaay!

the only thing that annoyed me a little bit was her dragging up my history with her fiance - I mean its all dead and buried as far as I'm concerned! *sigh* I don't like things like that being dragged up - I also didn't like the fact that mysteryman's new girlfriend knows everything about everyone - including when I was depressed and having a bit of a breakdown - and the whole falling out with certain people - it's history - why do people need to bring things up? it upsets me sometimes - but I guess its happened now...I have to move on.

Didn't do anything all weekend - helped my mum tidy up the christmas tree etc, and watched some more of my x-files DVDs - ahhh its all good fun!

its cold in my office this morning - I haven't got the new heater on though...and there is a huge gap where the "memorial" tree was in the window - it feels so weird it not being there.

I don't have much more to write as I am feeling a bit PO'd, so I think I will end this here before I start going off on a rampage rant

Happy Birthday Babygirl

Here is a picture of my dear friend and I in Southampton on our way to a gig that I won tickets for from a local radio station, we went to see The Hoosiers, The Twang and Travis at Southampton Guildhall on July 2nd 2007 - we were wetting ourselves laughing at this girl we had just passed in the car who had her HUGE pasty white belly hanging out, and took a picture to mark the occasion - I'm not sure if this was taken on my phone or hers....anyway....

...Today, it is her 24th birthday - I wanted to post a picture of her and wish her a wonderful birthday!

We are going out tonight to an Italian restaurant near to where I work in Southsea called Sopranos with some friends - we went their with her parents when we found out that the Amy Winehouse concert we were supposed to be going to was cancelled (but that is another story for another time) and we booked the table for her birthday there and then!
It's a shame that two of our friends can't make it - one, quite rightly can't as it's his Dad's 50th and he has family commitments, but the other just DITCHED her - saying that he had overbooked!! I mean HELLO!? he'd known about it in good time, why couldn't he have just said "yeah, I'll be there" and changed the other plans that had been made?! seems a bit off to me really!

But anyway to my superbeautifulmonster have a bloody brilliant day! and welcome to the old age club, where members are on the road to 25 *scary* don't forget your beige cardigan and slippers....and you have to blue rinse your hair now my lovely!

I will get some pictures taken tonight and post them Monday - as I can't get online over the weekend *lame*

Me, Myself and I

here we are then...pictures of me - I look different in each one!
The one above was taken after I had a nap - and I looked in the mirror and my hair looked random so I decided to document it by taking a picture on my camera phone, my face looks skinny in this one so I don't mind it so much

This one (Above) was taken at London Expo on Teekay's camera phone - I was sat on the floor in a queue...the BIGGEST queue EVER! - as you can see I am more than slightly pissed off, but I'm attempting to make the situation better with a Costa ^_^

I look really smug in the picture above, I don't really like it all that much.
I took this picture for someone on my camera phone and I have no idea why or who for now!

I have decided that this will pretty much be a page of randomness, rantings, comments, quotes, songs, and most of all photos - I will more than likely attempt to post at least one picture a day of something - be it from my camera phone (I don't have a digital camera or anything like that) or a picture from the internet, which I will of course credit if I post.

I had the strangest dream last night - the company that I worked for were trying to frame me for 7 murders, and although I had alibi's for each they were conducting their own investigation. I couldn't understand why the police weren't involved - so I tried to track down my Uncle, who is a police officer, to help me but with no luck. I had to face my old boss with all this evidence that I'd found that they were framing me. They admitted this was the case during my "meeting" and they were testing me to see if I was loyal to my new boss or not, and that I had passed and was 100% loyal to him.

WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN?!

there was other stuff which involved people from the TV show NCIS, but I won't go into all that now!

Hello you cheeky bitches....

Hello! I have been meaning to join here for ages, and here I am! I'm not quite sure where to begin...I know who I am, yet you don't...which is a good thing and also a bad thing! I love talking to people and reading all about people's lives etc - I guess you could call it a form of voyeurism in a way - but I never know what to write about myself. I'm quite literally rubbish!
As you can see from this my writing style leaves a lot to be desired...I'm shit at paragraphs and grammar and all kinds of things - its a miracle I am even able to write anything for work! (well practically every letter I have to write is saved in a template somewhere on the computer system! what a fucking cheat and a fraud!)

Anyway, I shall refer to myself as "Peppermint Nightmare" as I am a fan of the TV show "The Mighty Boosh" you may have heard of it....well it seems that a lot of people have heard of it, but in case you haven't and are stumbling across this thinking to yourself *what the fuck is this girl on?!* I shall explain...hmmmm...but how do I explain the show?!

AHA!

Vince Noir (Noel Fielding), king of the mods and Howard Moon (Julian Barratt), an intellectually vain genius/novelist/poet/wrestler/boxer/jazz musician work in the dysfunctional Zooniverse under the slightly crazed Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher). The wonders of the internet and imdb...anyway that about sums it up in a nutshell...kinda....its a show that you have to "see" to "believe" - I won't write "understand" cuz sometimes even that is a bit hard...anyway "Peppermint Nightmare" is what a cheeky cockney character called the "Hitcher" is also known as...the picture of the two kittens at the top are also from the Boosh - in case you are again wondering if I am on a hallucinogen or something equally wrong.

Anyway - I live in a Village...well technically its a town as it has its own church...in the UK called Waterlooville, which is about 25 minutes away (by car) from the City of Portsmouth (I know its a city as it has a cathedral...well, ok two cathedrals...I collect useless information like that...but it is interesting how they determine what is a village, town or city these days), which is on the south coast of England - there will be some pictures in my next entry...there aren't many of Waterlooville, but I have many of Portsmouth & Southsea (I don't want to bore people too much and assume that there aren't people out there who don't know where I am referring to!) so I won't post all of them - just the select few!

I work for an independent Funeral Director based in Southsea (which is in Portsmouth) if I was any further down I would be sitting in the sea!! - or on the Isle of Wight - hehe! I have been doing this job for 7 years and am fully qualified - I have letters after my name and everything!! - I used to work for a large company, which didn't go all that well...let's just say that I loved the job and certain people who I made friends with but not the company so much - and it seemed that my face didn't fit all that well...after I left there I started (almost immediately) working where I am now...its not been a year yet, but things are going well, I am happy and the people here are so lovely, which is brilliant!

I live at home with my mum and her partner - its much cheaper living with her at the moment, and I am saving up to visit the US in September so I need all the money I can get my hands on at the moment - and I also want to learn how to drive and get a decent run-about, I know I will be leaving there soon - I have a year or so before my Mum gets totally pissed off and tells me to never darken her doorway again!

okies, that's about enough of me - I'll get on with posting these pictures! and after that I will post some of me - how lucky you are!!
